When I see people getting awards and industry magazine spreads, I’m often a little skeptical, despite having a pretty good piece published in the then Australian Reseller News.

Today I received some wonderful news …

“reaching out on behalf of CIO Views Magazine, and I’m delighted to inform you that you have been shortlisted by our editorial team for a feature in our upcoming special edition:

OMG, OMG, OMG Finally the recognition I so very much deserve. If I invest $3500 US Dollars in a company I have not actively traded since 2015.

To my mind this is inside sales, selling a marketing campaign and using scarcity to close the sale.

This was done almost 2 decades ago, when I dreamt big for building a company that helped SMBs and could be left to my children.
A situation where I could see things to completion and that satisfying “Look what I’ve made” moment.
My back of a cigarette packet business plan didn’t eventuate, because if I’m honest not now or have I ever been a salesman.

If I recall correctly, I was at an Ingram Micro reseller event in Canberra I’d guess two beers in and spouting off about this is what you should be doing. Very much a YouTube AI Entrepreneur, lots of look at where the market and money is with very little evidence of runs on the board.
